Personal Donation Campaign

Donations go straight to your WePay or Stripe account. Donations will be pending for 1-3 business days before they are eligible for withdrawal.

For WePay, funds can take 2-5 business days to show up in your bank account after a withdrawal is authorized.

For Stripe, all donations will get sent to your bank account on a rolling 7-day basis once you’ve connected a bank account. For example, anything processed on May 1st, will get deposited on May 8th. Or, another example, anything processed on Wednesday you will see the following Wednesday. All donations processed on the weekends or holidays will transfer the next business day.

All or Nothing Campaign

All or Nothing campaigns are US only and utilize WePay as the payment processor. Donations are considered pledges to the campaign until the goal is met. When the campaign hits its goal, the credit cards are charged and the donations go directly into your WePay account. Funds can take 2-5 business days to show up in your bank account after a withdrawal is authorized.

Certified Charity Campaign

GoFundMe has teamed-up with a trusted partner called FirstGiving to process and deliver all donations to your favorite US-based charities and nonprofit organizations.

FirstGiving sends checks directly to the charity on file on the 15th of the following month. For example, any money raised in May will be sent directly to the charity headquarters on the 15th of JuneAfter your second check, an extra $7.50 fee is charged to each check that is processed. If you are associated with your organization, you can set up EFT payments, which do not incur any extra fees.
