Changing your name on a donation

You can edit the name visible on the fundraiser for your donation by following the steps below. If you would prefer that your name doesn't show at all, please review this article on how to make your donation anonymous.

Please note, you will only be able to edit your name within 14 days of the donation being made. If you would like to edit your name after 14 days, please contact our team for help.

How to edit a name on a donation with your donation receipt:

1. Scroll down to the bottom of the receipt
2. Select 'Add a comment'
3. Edit your name and save

How to request a new donation receipt:

1. 1. Follow the link to our contact form here
   2. Select “Making or Managing a Donation” 
   3. Select “Requesting a new copy of your receipt”
   4. Enter the email address used for your donation

How to edit your donation name if you have a GoFundMe account:

1. Follow this link to sign in to your GoFundMe account
2. Select the three lines at the top right of the page 
3. Select “Donations you've made” from the drop down menu 
4. Select “Manage” below the fundraiser you donated to that you would like to edit 
5. Select "Edit" and make changes in the first and last name boxes
6. Select “Save” when you have made your edits.
