How do I send the funds to someone else? (UK Only)

If you would like to raise money for someone else and you are located in the UK, you must first make sure your beneficiary is a UK citizen, at least 18 years of age, and has a UK mailing address, phone number and bank account.

To get started, create your GoFundMe campaign here:  www.gofundme.com/sign-up/

When you are finished creating your account, or click 'Withdraw' on your GoFundMe Dashboard at any time, you will be asked whether you are raising money for 'Myself' or 'Someone Else'.If you select the 'Someone Else' option, you can enter your beneficiary’s email and name to send them a beneficiary invitation.Once they accept the invitation, they will have sole access to your campaign's donations.  If you select the 'Someone Else' option, you can enter your beneficiary’s email and name to send them a beneficiary invitation. Once they accept the invitation, they will have sole access to your campaign's donations.

If you have selected 'Myself', but change your mind later, you can click the ‘More’ tab on your GoFundMe Dashboard and then choose ‘Transfer Money to Someone Else'. You will have the option, again, to send your beneficiary an invitation.

If you do not see the 'Myself' or 'Someone Else' option, please contact our team to give your beneficiary access to your campaign's funds.
