If you've been issued a refund, please bear in mind that the funds will be returned to your card in 3–7 working days.
Your bank may either apply the refund as a credit to your account or the original debit may disappear entirely from your statement. We encourage you to contact your bank (or the issuer of the card that you used to donate) to find out how the funds will be returned to you.
If the card you used to donate is now closed, your bank should have an alternative method of returning the funds to you. We’ve seen card issuers either credit the funds to your previous account balance, send the money to you personally, return it to our payment processor or pursue another option entirely, so please refer to your card company for the next steps.
If you haven't received your refund three weeks after it should have arrived, please contact our team to ensure that the funds are returned to you as soon as possible.
