Unsubscribing from GoFundMe emails
Unsubscribing from marketing emails
If you’d no longer like to receive marketing emails from GoFundMe, you can follow the steps below:
- Sign into your GoFundMe account
- Select "Settings" from the menu in the top right corner
- Choose the "Notifications" tab
- Scroll to "Choose how you'd like to hear from us"
- Read through notification options, and toggle whichever you'd like to unsubscribe from
- If you'd like to unsubscribe from all marketing emails, click the button at the bottom "Unsubscribe from all marketing emails"
Unsubscribing from fundraiser update emails
- Sign in to your GoFundMe account
- Select 'Your impact' from the menu in the top right corner
- Scroll to "Fundraisers you support" and then click the "Your donations" tab
- Click the fundraiser card for the fundraiser you'd like to unsubscribe from
- Under "Notification settings" toggle off the option to "Receive notifications when the organiser posts an update"
Receiving emails for a donation you didn’t make
It’s possible for a donor to accidentally enter your email address when they made their donation. We always recommend reviewing your bank statement first. If you don't see any charges you don’t recognise, you can reach our team by clicking "Contact us", and we can assist in unsubscribing from those emails.
