Can I give things away or have prizes for my donors? 

As stated in our Terms of Service, GoFundMe does not allow organisers to offer any type of goods or services to donors on or through our platform. This includes offering or promoting any contest, competition, reward, raffle, sweepstake, giveaway, or similar activity.

What are other things I can do to make my fundraiser a success? 

There are many ways you can promote your fundraiser through sharing and asking others to share your cause as well. You can use the "Share fundraiser" option in your GoFundMe account to see different ways to share.

How can I thank my donors? 

A great way for organisers to show thanks to their supporters is by posting updates on your fundraiser and/or sending a thank-you note through GoFundMe. You might also consider sending a handwritten note if you know the donor well and already have the donor’s contact information. 

What happens if my fundraiser violates the Terms of Service? 

Our Terms of Service are in place to help ensure fundraisers on GoFundMe are safe, secure, and meet regulatory requirements. If your fundraiser violates our Terms of Service, it may be paused or removed by GoFundMe and a member of our team will contact you via the email you provided at signup. At our discretion, we may attempt to work with you to align your fundraiser to our Terms of Service. If that is not possible or you refuse to work with us, we may refund some or all of the donations your fundraiser has received.  Please refer to our Terms of Service for more information.
