Can I use a landline to verify my account?

Yes, you may use a landline to verify your account when using the ‘Voice Call’ option. However, we strongly recommend using a cell phone, so you can access your account from anywhere.

 

Note: Multi Factoring Authentication is only required for North American customers that create Personal campaigns

 

If you haven't verified your phone number yet, follow these steps from a desktop or laptop computer:

  1. Sign in to your GoFundMe account at www.gofundme.com/sign-in
  2. At the ‘Protect Your Account’ pop up message, select to receive a ‘Voice Call’
  3. If you’ve already entered your phone number, click the ‘Back’ button to request a ‘Voice Call’ instead

If you've verified your phone number before, and are now trying to verify it on another device, click the 'Didn't receive a code?' option. You’ll then see the ‘Voice Call’ option appear.
