How do I change my email address?

Important: Please note that updating your email to someone else's address may cause issues with your account. If you want to add a beneficiary to your campaign, please view one of the following articles:

To change your GoFundMe email address, follow the steps below.

 

From a desktop or laptop computer, please:

1. Sign in to GoFundMe: http://www.gofundme.com/sign-in/
2. Click your account name at the top-right of the screen
3. Click "Account Settings’ from the drop-down menu
4. Change your email and click ‘Save Setting’ at the bottom of the screen

 

From a mobile phone, please:

1. Sign in to your GoFundMe account and tap the ‘Menu’ button in the upper left corner (button with 3 lines)
2. Tap ‘Account Settings’
3. Tap the box that has your current email, and update it to your new one
4. Tap the box underneath and enter your new email in once more for confirmation, and tap ‘Save Settings’ to save your changes. You will see a notification that says ‘Email change saved!’

 

From the GoFundMe app, please:

1. Sign in to the GoFundMe app and tap the ‘Menu’ button in the upper left corner (the three white lines)
2. Tap the Gear icon at the bottom right of your screen, then tap "Account Settings"
3. Tap the box that has your current email, and update it to your new one
4. Tap the box underneath and enter your new email in once more for confirmation and scroll down and tap "Save Settings" to save your changes. You will see a notification that says "Email change saved!"
