If you’ve forgotten your GoFundMe account password, you can request a new one by following these steps:
- Click or tap the ‘Forgot your password?’ link at https://www.gofundme.com/sign-in
- After entering your email address, a password reset email will be sent to that address
- Please click or tap the ‘Reset my password’ link, and you will be taken to a confirmation page
- Return to your inbox to find a message titled ‘Successful Password Reset.’ In that email will be a temporary password you can use to sign into your GoFundMe account. Once signed in, you will be able to create a new, permanent password.
Please note that if you signed up for GoFundMe with Facebook, you will need to use the email and password you use to sign in to Facebook. To create a separate password for GoFundMe, simply click or tap the “Forgot your password?” link at https://www.gofundme.com/sign-in and follow the steps above to create a new password.
How do I reset my WePay or Stripe password?
The password for your GoFundMe account might differ from the password for your payment account, where your money is stored.
