I can’t add a beneficiary because the phone number on my account is wrong/outdated

You can reset your phone number by logging in to your account.  

Having a phone number connected to your GoFundMe and WePay account (also known as Multi-Factor Authentication) adds a layer of account security. Just think of it as a second password. If you’ve already verified your account with a phone number, you can follow these steps to reset it:

  1. Sign into your GoFundMe campaign dashboard.
  2. Click on ‘Withdraw’
  3. Next, click on the link labeled ‘‘Need to change phone number?’
  4. On the next screen, enter your old phone number and click ‘Reset.’
  5. Once your old phone number is verified, you'll be able to enter your new phone number.
