We're excited to announce that GoFundMe has acquired YouCaring, and we're opening the door to YouCaring customers who would like to continue to raise money on GoFundMe.
As a member of the GoFundMe community, you will have access to GoFundMe’s best-in-class 24/7 customer support, Trust & Safety Team, mobile app, and donor protection backed by the GoFundMe Guarantee. You can learn more about the benefits of using GoFundMe right here.
All YouCaring accounts and fundraisers have been closed as of August 1, 2018. As a result, all of the following have been disabled to customers and the GoFundMe team alike: access to YouCaring accounts and donor data, incoming donations to fundraisers, and all fundraiser URLs.
Getting Started on GoFundMe
It's also easy to add offline donations to your GoFundMe to show the money you've raised previously on YouCaring.
Getting Money Raised on YouCaring
The money you raised will always be accessible directly through the payment partner you selected and linked to your YouCaring fundraiser. Any ongoing withdrawals will continue uninterrupted.
If you used WePay and started withdrawing already, automatic withdrawals will continue according to the schedule you selected. If you haven’t started withdrawing yet, please use your YouCaring email address to log into WePay directly at https://www.wepay.com/login
If you need to set a new WePay account password first, you can do so here: https://www.wepay.com/register/recover
Alternatively, if you used PayPal, you can log into your PayPal account at any time to view the donations you received and transfer money to your bank account if you choose.
For beneficiaries of YouCaring fundraisers: If your organizer linked you directly to their campaign, you can withdraw the money directly through the payment processor’s website, which is usually WePay. The money will still be accessible in your WePay account even after the fundraiser has been closed.
