How to know whether the withdrawal has been sent yet
If you're expecting money in your bank account and it hasn't arrived within 5 business days, please first check your email inbox for a message about a failed withdrawal. This usually means that the bank account information needs to be updated.
If the withdrawal's date shown in your GoFundMe account continues to be pushed back, you may need to provide additional documentation, and the rest of this article would not apply to your situation. You can learn more about further documentation needed for withdrawals here.
If you haven’t received any error messages and, your withdrawal shows in your withdrawal history, but you still have not received your funds, please read on for the next steps to troubleshoot this issue.
How long has it been since you started your withdrawals?
Transfers take 2-5 business days (Monday-Friday) to arrive in your bank account from the date sent. If it has been over 5 business days since the money was sent out from GoFundMe, check with your bank to see if they can locate the transfer.
Important to note: The withdrawal may show on your bank statement as coming from our payment processor, Adyen or Stripe, rather than GoFundMe.
Are the funds still processing?
Depending on the card provider, donations made to a GoFundMe fundraiser can take 1-14 business days to verify before being sent to the bank account on file. You can check under “Donations still processing” in the Withdrawal Overview section of your GoFundMe account to see if this is the case.
