If you’re receiving a message when trying to create a campaign that says “We cannot create your account. Contact our support team for help.", here are some steps you can try to move forward and create your campaign:
- If you have an existing GoFundMe account and you’ve previously created a campaign on that account, it’s possible that your GoFundMe account and your payment account with our payment partner become disconnected. To fix this issue, please deactivate your GoFundMe account and create a new account at www.gofundme.com/sign-up. You’ll be able to move forward as normal.
- If you’re creating a new GoFundMe account and campaign, check that your postal code is correctly formatted for the location of your campaign and for the currency in which you are raising funds. Once the correctly formatted postal code is entered, you’ll be able to continue with your campaign. Our system populates postal codes for you, but if you don’t see the postal code for your area, please contact our team.
- GoFundMe is not yet available in all areas around the world. If you are not a member of one of our supported countries, you will not be able to create a campaign. Here is a list of our supported countries.
