Accessing data in PayPal Giving Fund is an efficient way to account for the donations that are connected to your certified charity fundraisers on GoFundMe. By enrolling in PayPal Giving Fund, you’ll gain access to donor email addresses, names, donation amounts, and payout information. We know that regularly reviewing this data is a part of every nonprofit's daily operations and we want to make it easy for you to navigate. PayPal Giving Fund also provides the name of the fundraiser that each donor donated to.
Enrolling in PayPal Giving Fund
Keep in mind that your organization will need to be enrolled with PayPal Giving Fund in order to access the data. Enrolling can be completed within a week and the process is outlined here.
Track your donations and payouts from the PayPal Giving Fund Dashboard
Your organization will be able to see new incoming (but not yet paid out) donations in the Recent Donations tab, and individual transactions are listed in the Activities tab. If donors have chosen to share their information with you, you’ll also see it in Activities, as seen below:
Accessing Donor Information
If you’ve completed enrollment and have access to your PayPal Giving Fund dashboard, you can download a CSV file of your donors' information and see which specific certified charity campaign the funds are from.
To do so, please follow these steps:
- Sign into your PayPal Giving Fund account by following this link
- Select Activity at the top of your screen
- Select a date range for when you received the donations
- Select Download CSV
