Resetting your password
Follow these steps to reset your password:
- Go to the password reset page
- Enter the email address on your GoFundMe account and click "Reset password"
- Open the email you receive, click "Reset password," and enter your new password. Passwords must include at least:
- 12 characters
- 1 uppercase letter
- 1 lowercase letter
- 1 number
- 1 symbol
The reset link is only valid for 6 hours. If you click an expired link, simply return to the password reset page and request a new one.
Signed up with Google or Apple? You can still reset a password using the steps above — just use the email address associated with your social account. This will create a GoFundMe password so you can sign in with email and password going forward.
Didn't receive the reset email?
- The email may take a few minutes to arrive — wait a moment before trying again
- Check your spam or junk folder for an email from GoFundMe
- Make sure you entered your email address correctly
- If you use a work, school, or corporate email address, your organization's email filters may be blocking the message — try a personal email address if you have one on your account
