How to add your charity to the GoFundMe database

The GoFundMe charity database includes all charities in the  PayPal Giving Fund database. Please use the links below to search your charity’s name or tax ID to see if it is already listed in our database.

If your organization is not on the list yet, a financial administrator for the organization can follow the steps below to be added, based on where the charity is located. Your organization will need to currently have its tax exempt status in order to be added to the list.

In the US, only 501(c)(3) Public Charities are eligible to enroll in PayPal Giving Fund. (Other organizations like 501(c)(4), 501(c)19, etc are not supported at this time.)

If your charity is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and holds deductible gift recipient status (DGR), you’ll be automatically listed on our programs and donors can nominate you as their benefiting charity.

The exception to this is charities that are public or private ancillary funds (these are described as item 2 under its DGR endorsement). PayPal Giving Fund is a Public Ancillary Fund and is therefore not able to make grants to other public or private ancillary funds.

If your charity is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission and operates a fund, authority, or institution which has DGR status (provided it is not item 2), the fund, authority or institution can also be listed on our programs.
