Reactivating your fundraiser

Your fundraiser can show as "Deleted" in your GoFundMe account for two reasons:

• You deleted it — either intentionally or by accident
• It became inactive — fundraisers that haven't received a donation or posted an update in 365 days are automatically marked as inactive
• It was removed by our team for a violation.

I want to reactivate my fundraiser

Submit this form to request reactivation.

If approved, your fundraiser will be fully restored — same content, donation history, and URL — exactly as it was before it became inactive. Our Support team will review your request and be in touch once it's been processed.

I want to appeal the removal of my fundraiser

If your fundraiser was removed by our team, the GoFundMe organizer will have received an email with the subject "Important message from GoFundMe". The email will detail why your fundraiser was removed.

I want to make sure my fundraiser remains active going forward

To prevent your fundraiser from becoming inactive again, post a fundraiser update every few months. Any update counts as activity and will reset the 365-day clock. Check out this article for steps on how to post an update.

I just want my fundraiser content (story, images, etc.)

If you'd no longer like to raise funds but want to save your fundraiser story, photos, or other content, submit this form and our Support team will send it to you.

I want to remove my fundraiser from GoFundMe and search results

If your fundraiser is inactive and you don't want it appearing on GoFundMe or in Google search results, please use the “Contact us” button to get in touch with our Support team. Our team will remove it for you.
