Claiming and managing your US nonprofit

Nonprofits based in the United States are supported by GoFundMe Pro. GoFundMe Pro is a best-in-class fundraising platform for nonprofits, and you'll be able to continue managing your nonprofit as normal within GoFundMe Pro.

Follow these steps to claim your US-based nonprofit:

1. Claim your nonprofit, or go to gofundme.com, select "Sign up as a nonprofit" from the "Fundraise" menu

   

2. Select "Claim my Nonprofit Page", and then search for your organization
3. Confirm you've selected the correct nonprofit by selecting, "Confirm and continue"
4. Create an account with your work email (If you already have an account, you'll be prompted to sign in.)
5. Next you'll verify your identity by sharing your full name, your role at the nonprofit you're claiming, and your home address
6. If you're automatically verified, you'll be prompted to sign in to GoFundMe Pro and then brought to your dashboard
7. If we have trouble verifying your connection to the nonprofit, we'll prompt you to upload documents (like a paystub or your ID)
8. Once your documents are confirmed, then you'll be prompted to sign in to GoFundMe Pro and can access your nonprofit dashboard

If you've already claimed your US-based nonprofit with GoFundMe

You can now manage your nonprofit and access donor details within GoFundMe Pro. We've made it simple to gain access to your new Pro account. 

You can log into your existing GoFundMe nonprofit account and there will be a banner letting you know about GoFundMe Pro. Choose "Manage page" to sign into your new account. You'll also receive an email from us notifying you about the change. 

The email will have the subject "Congrats! Your Nonprofit Page is verified", and within the email, select "Get started" to access your GoFundMe Pro account. From that account you can manage your Nonprofit Page and review donor data.

Managing your Nonprofit Page

After your connection to your nonprofit has been verified and you have access to your GoFundMe Pro nonprofit dashboard, you'll be able to make edits to your Nonprofit Page and access donor data. Review this article on GoFundMe Pro to learn more about Nonprofit pages.
