You can change the bank account on file for an active fundraiser at any time. You can edit the bank details by verifying quickly through your bank provider or manually enter bank details.
Editing the bank information will affect all fundraisers in your GoFundMe account. If you'd like for funds on different fundraisers to go to different accounts, you'll need to add a beneficiary.
To edit bank details through your bank provider:
- Select the fundraiser you'd like to update bank information on, then click "Transfers"
- Select your bank under the "Saved accounts", continue to our payment partner's secure portal
- Under "Bank Details", select the bank currently on file, and choose "Delete" from the drop-down menu
- Click under "Bank Details" again to add new information, then select "Verify quickly with a provider" and then "Next"
- Either choose your bank from the list or search for your bank in the search bar
- Continue to follow prompts to sign into your online banking portal and select the account you'd like to add
- Once you've selected the desired account, you can return to GoFundMe
