Properly setting up your withdrawals can take some time. It's important to plan ahead and get this process started as soon as possible to avoid any issues.
- You must verify your email address within 14 days of receiving your first donation, or incoming donations will be paused. If the email address is not verified within 30 days, donations will be automatically refunded.
You or your beneficiary must make your first withdrawal within 30 days of receiving your first donation, or incoming donations will be paused.
- Your donations will be automatically refunded if your withdrawals are not completely set up within 90 days of receiving your first donation.
- If you do not provide verification information required by our payment processor within 90 days, any donations received after their initial request will be automatically refunded as well. You will receive emails prompting you to upload or provide this information.
This is because our payment partners are online payment processors only, and are not allowed to act as a bank by holding on to your funds for long periods of time.
You can set up to have your funds sent to you via bank transfer, which will arrive in 2 to 5 business days from the time they are sent. Withdrawals will not affect your GoFundMe or stop donations. Your page will still show the total amount donated and new donations will continue to be accepted.
