If you have been issued a refund, please keep in mind the funds will return to your card in 3-7 business days.
Your bank may either apply the refund as a credit to your account, or the original charge may disappear entirely from your statement. We encourage you to contact your bank (or the issuer of the card that you used to donate) to ask how they plan to return the funds back to you.
If the card you used to donate is now closed, your bank should have an alternate plan to get the funds back to you. We’ve seen card providers either apply the funds to your previous account balance, send the money to you personally, return it to our payment processor, or pursue another option entirely, so please refer to your card company for the next steps.
If you have not received your refund three weeks after it should have arrived, please contact our team directly to ensure you receive these funds back as soon as possible.
